The Prosecutor General's Office has found the largest number - almost 30% of prosecutors with disabilities in the Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyi Regions.
The Prosecutor General's Office announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the currently processed information, 61 prosecutors or 28.9% of the total number of prosecutors working there in the Khmelnytskyi Region, 60 prosecutors or 27.4% of the total number of employees in the Cherkasy Region have this status.
It is noted that this indicator does not exceed 10% in the remaining prosecutor's offices and the Prosecutor General's Office. In particular, in 18 prosecutor's offices, the share of prosecutors with disability groups is less than 5% of the total number, and in another 11 prosecutor's offices, it is from 5 to 10%.

In the Prosecutor General's Office, 22 prosecutors have the status of a person with a disability, which is 2.5% of the total number of prosecutors working in the central office.
"Each of these facts will be thoroughly checked and assessed both within the scope of the official investigation and within the scope of the criminal proceedings," the report said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council regarding the situation with medical and social expert commissions (MSECs) and the abuse of disability by officials, after which he declared that Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin should bear political responsibility for the situation in the prosecutor's offices.
After the meeting of the National Security Council, Kostin announced that he was submitting an application for dismissal from his post.
