Mykolaiv MSEC head during war registers disability and receiving pension for it

Acting head of the Mykolaiv regional MSEC, Vira Beliakova, whose son's russian passport was found by the SSU employees, was registered as a disabled person during the war and receives a disability pension.

This is evidenced by Beliakova's declaration, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

She registered the disability in 2023.

In the same year, Beliakova received a pension of UAH 21,262 and a salary of UAH 500,000.

Her pension is paid by the Main Office of the Pension Fund in the Mykolaiv Region.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, almost USD 500,000 and her son's russian passport were found in the possession of the head of the Mykolaiv regional MSEC. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he called a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council and expects tough decisions due to abuses occurring in medical and social expert commissions (MSECs). In October, journalists showed the incomes declared by the heads of regional centers of MSEC.

Vira Beliakova lives on one salary and has no savings, but during the war she bought an apartment in Odesa for UAH 1.4 million.
