AFU destroy 1,350 invaders, 32 units of armored vehicles and 71 drones. General Staff names russia’s losses at front

During the day from October 21 to 22, the aggressor country of the russian federation lost 1,350 soldiers at the front. In addition, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 34 artillery systems, 71 drones and 8 tanks.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 22, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 681,580 (+1,350) people;
• tanks - 9,079 (+8) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 18,199 (+24) units;
• artillery systems - 19,623 (+34) units;
• MLRS - 1,234 (+2) units;
• air defense equipment - 981 (+2) units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 329 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 17,404 (+71) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,625 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 27,111 (+77) units;
• special equipment - 3,499 (+20) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of October 21, the losses of the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation in the war amount to 1,710 soldiers. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the russian federation has lost more than 680,000 soldiers.
