After the visit of Donald Trump, McDonald's said that they do not support any of the US presidential candidates.
This is reported by Bloomberg.
It will be recalled that the Republican presidential candidate "worked" at McDonald's in Pennsylvania - one of the key states for the election. Trump put on uniform and cooked food, fried potatoes and worked the drive-thru.
It is noted that he did this in response to the message of Republican candidate Kamala Harris, who said that she had such a part-time job during her student years.
After that, McDonald's said that it does not support any candidate for the presidency of the United States.
"McDonald's does not support candidates for elected office... We are not red or blue - we are gold," the network said.
At the same time, McDonald's explained that it received a request about "Trump's desire to visit a restaurant in Pennsylvania."
"After learning about the former president's request, we approached him through the prism of our core values: we open our doors to everyone," the corporation said.
McDonald's also added that the franchisees, who manage and own more than 95% of the restaurants in the United States, have invited Harris and her vice-presidential candidate, Tim Walz, to visit the chain.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, billionaire Elon Musk, who is supporting Donald Trump in the elections, said that he will raffle USD 1 million every day before the US presidential election among those who sign a petition in support of the US constitution in the state of Pennsylvania.
