The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Oleksandr Pertsoskyi as the chairman of the board of the Ukrzaliznytsia joint-stock company.
This is stated in the message of Ukrzaliznytsia on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at the request of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, has appointed Oleksandr Pertsovskyi as the chairman of the board of the company for a period of three years," the message reads.
Until the end of the contract with Ukrzaliznytsia, Yevhen Liashchenko, who held the position of the chairman of the board from March 2023 until today, will continue to work as a member of the board.
In addition, Volodymyr Krot, Orest Lohunov and Anton Mishyn were dismissed from the positions of the board members of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Pertsovskyi has been working at JSC Ukrzaliznytsia since 2020, until now he held the position of a member of the board and was responsible for the passenger direction.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, at the beginning of October, the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Liashchenko wrote a resignation letter.
