The Ministry of Health carried out inspections and canceled the conclusions on the establishment of disability of 74 conscripts of Khmelnytskyi MSEK.
This is stated in the response of the Ministry of Health to the request of the Ukrainian News agency.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in compliance with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated August 30, 2023 "On Military Medical Examination in the Armed Forces of Ukraine", put into effect by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated September 12, 2023 No. 576/2023, carried out validity checks decisions on the establishment of disability for men aged 18 to 60, made during the period of martial law in Ukraine from 09/27/2023 to 11/10/2023 (reviewed by the commission - 53,734 cases, selected for review - 781 cases).
Also, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine dated April 11, 2024 No. 3633 - IX "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization, and Military Registration" conducted checks on the validity of the decisions of medical and social experts of the commission on the establishment of disability for male citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 50, who were established with the disability of II and III groups during the period of the legal regime of martial law in Ukraine in the period from 06/06/2024 to 06/21/2024 (considered by the commission - 37,891 cases, selected for review - 543 cases).
In addition, cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the framework of investigations into criminal proceedings continues.
"Currently, more than 18,779,000 medical-expert cases have been processed. In 3,146 cases, the decision of the MSEC was recognized as questionable and an additional examination was ordered. After that, expert decisions in 74 cases were revised and canceled," says the response to the request.
In 38 cases, the II disability group was canceled and the III disability group was established.
In 36 cases, the disability group was removed.
Currently, the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission is being inspected by law enforcement agencies as part of criminal proceedings.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he has convened a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council and expects tough decisions due to abuses occurring in medical and social expert commissions (MSECs).
The chief prosecutor of Khmelnytskyi Region said that he got disabled at the workplace while studying the case materials.
