Production capacity of the Ukrainian drone industry increased more than 10 times this year compared to last year.
This is evidenced by a study of the drone industry by the Kyiv School of Economics and Brave1, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reports.
"After mass production was established, the priority shifted to efficiency and the latest technologies. Experts also expect that in the coming years, competition will lead to the consolidation of manufacturers," the report said.
It is also noted that there is noticeable progress in the creation of air, sea and land drones and the development of electronic warfare systems, and among the key trends is the use of computer vision, "swarm" technologies, innovations in navigation and communication.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that in 2024 Ukraine would produce 1 million drones.
Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries and Industry Hanna Hvozdiar said in July that Ukraine can produce more than 3 million drones of various types per year.
