As of 06:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, russia keeps one ship on combat duty in the Black Sea - the carrier of the Kalibr cruise missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
This was announced by the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"There is 1 enemy ship in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 4 enemy ships, of which 3 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles,” the message says.
During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:
- to the Black Sea - 6 ships, of which 4 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 9 ships, of which 2 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of October 17, there were 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, including 1 Kalibr cruise missile carrier, while there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
