Cargo ship "Grigory Lovtsov" capsized in russia

In the aggressor country of russia, the cargo ship "Grigory Lovtsov" capsized near the shores of Sakhalin. A search and rescue operation has been launched.

According to the governor of the Sakhalin Oblast Valery Limarenko, the ship "Grigory Lovtsov", which was transporting crushed stone and sand, capsized near the shores of the Korsakovsky district. Previously, during overloading, a tilt occurred and the vessel overturned.

There were seven crew members on board the vessel "Grigory Lovtsov". Three of them were saved by ships that came to help. The fate of four more crew members is currently unknown.

According to other data, two people were killed when the ship overturned. Another man was found and taken out of the water, he was hospitalized.

Two tugboats and a rescue vessel are involved in search and rescue operations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine has blocked russia's chairmanship of the Commission for the Protection of the Black Sea from Pollution.

Earlier, the aggressor country of russia appealed to Azerbaijan and Georgia to help supply electricity in case of emergency situations in the country's energy system.
