President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the majority of European Union countries supported Ukraine's Victory Plan.
Zelenskyy said this during a press conference in Brussels, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Today we had a very productive conversation with all the members of the European Union, with all our colleagues. 18 of them commented on the Victory Plan. I am very grateful that I had a closed conversation with the allies. And after our very frank conversation... This is how we begin to work with this plan, but most of those who spoke were completely on the side of supporting the Victory Plan," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that the leaders of the EU countries heard some details of the Plan from him, and the teams of Ukraine and allies will continue to work on the Plan.
He also said that he had already started communicating some points of the Victory Plan, in particular regarding long-range weapons, with the leaders of the U.S., UK, Germany, France and Italy and, according to him, there were positive signals among them.
Zelenskyyt is in Belgium on Thursday, where he presented the Victory Plan to the members of the European Council.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy also talked about the meeting with Orbán in Brussels.
On Wednesday, October 16, Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.
