The armed forces of the russian federation are forming assault units in the vicinity of the Robotyne settlement with the aim of intensifying hostilities.
This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, a representative of the Tavria Oerational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG).
In these areas, russian forces continue to attempt assaults, especially after the regrouping of troops that took place after their successes near Vuhledar. According to Voloshyn, russian troops continue to carry out missile and air strikes, as well as actively use unmanned aerial vehicles.
"In particular, I would like to single out the Kherson Axis. At the mouth of the Dnieper, the enemy is trying to take control of the islands and is constantly shelling and striking Kherson and coastal settlements," said the group's spokesman.
Voloshyn noted that the enemy is transferring the personnel of the assault groups to the advanced positions of the Kherson Axis. At the same time, the formation of russian strike groups is not carried out by attracting reserves, that is, the enemy completes assault units from those soldiers who are already on the combat line.
"Each of these formations has its own assault groups. They transfer the personnel of these assault groups to advanced positions in order to start assault actions by small groups of infantry. There is no question of the formation of large offensive formations," the speaker emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, yesterday, October 15, russian occupation forces attacked 15 settlements in the Kherson Region. There are wounded.
