Changes to legislation in order to implement Victory Plan will be made - Stefanchuk

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, confirmed that in order to implement all points of the Victory Plan, the Parliament will make changes to the legislation.

He said this at a briefing, answering questions from the Ukrainian News Agency.

"Undoubtedly. We will have a whole series of legislative initiatives for each of the points," he said about the implementation of the Victory Plan in the legal field.

According to him, inter-factional groups will be created in the Verkhovna Rada, which will develop drafts of relevant laws for the Victory Plan.

Stefanchuk noted that initiatives will be developed together with representatives from the Office of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada explained that the issue of the invitation to NATO is a political one, but it will require the adoption of some relevant laws aimed at bringing us closer to the alliance's standards.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the details of the Victory Plan with the leaders of factions in the Verkhovna Rada.
