The large producer of mineral fertilizers Rivneazot (Rivne Region), which is part of the Ostchem company, resumed work and reached 100% capacity of the basic workshops for the production of mineral fertilizers.
This is stated in the press service of Group DF, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, the ammonia shop (A-2), the non-concentrated nitric acid shop and the ammonium nitrate production shop are currently in operation.
In particular, the capacity of the loaded ammonia line is 650 tons of ammonia/day, unconcentrated nitric acid is 1,000 tons of nitric acid/day.
At the same time, the ammonium nitrate workshop will operate at the maximum capacity of the ammonia line, i.e. at least 40,000 tons of nitrate per month.
"The forced shutdown of basic workshops a month ago was related to damage during shelling of the region's energy infrastructure. During the shutdown of the plant, we carried out maintenance and reconstruction of a number of production systems, including the energy supply system at the enterprise. This will reduce production risks and ensure stable operation of the company's base workshops during the high season. We successfully completed the start-up of key units and launched the plant at full capacity to satisfy the growing seasonal demand of farmers for mineral fertilizers," said Mykhailo Zabluda, the head of the board of Rivneazot.
According to him, the plant is currently working entirely to supply fertilizers to the domestic market of Ukraine.
Products are shipped to customers across the country strictly in accordance with contracts.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, Ostchem enterprises increased the production of fertilizers by 19.5% to 2.1 million tons.
