Hundreds of people may be involved in murder of Farion - investigation

A lot of people may be involved in the murder of Lviv Polytechnic professor Iryna Farion.

This is evidenced by court materials, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In the course of the pre-trial investigation, a report was received from the security officer of the Main Directorate of the national Police in the Lviv Region that, during the course of the complex of measures on this criminal procedure, the Main Directorate of the national Police in the Lviv Region established that unidentified persons who use 300 subscriber numbers may be involved in the commission of this criminal offense.

This indicates that many people may be involved in the crime.

The Halytskyi District Court of Lviv considered the request of the investigation and granted access to telephone conversations of 291 subscriber numbers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, investigators determined from the smell of blood that the suspect in the murder of Farion was at the scene of the crime.

A figure in the Farion murder case wanted to return the gun seized during the search through the court. The police found a FORT pistol with cartridges during a search in the case of the murder of professor and linguist Iryna Farion.
