As of 06:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, russia has 2 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea that are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 2 enemy ships, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo up to 4 missiles," the message says.
During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:
- to the Black Sea – 12 vessels, of which 4 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 5 ships, of which 2 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems," Ukrainian Navy emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 2 russian missile carriers were also in the Black Sea on October 10, and there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
