Russia keeps 2 missile carriers on combat duty in Black Sea – Navy

The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea that are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 2 enemy ships, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo up to 4 missiles," the message says.

During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:

- to the Black Sea – 12 vessels, of which 4 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;

- to the Sea of ​​Azov - 5 ships, of which 2 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of ​​1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems," Ukrainian Navy emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 2 russian missile carriers were also in the Black Sea on October 10, and there were no enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov.
