Zelenskyy sums up his tour of Europe

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a new defense package for Ukraine from Germany, as well as the presentation of the Victory Plan to European leaders.

It was stated in the evening address of the head of state on Friday, October 11.

Zelenskyy noted that he held meetings with the largest defense donors.

"There will be a new defense package for Ukraine from Germany. I thank you especially for the help with air defense systems - in this Germany is the unconditional leader of support. I thank you for another IRIS-T. We discussed with the Chancellor what the support will be this year and next year - for it is very important for us that the amount of aid from Germany remains constant, and this will be a signal that the path to peace will be certain despite everything. We discussed how to further consolidate the world to bring peace closer," the President said.

With Pope Francis and Secretary of State Cardinal Parolin, Zelenskyy discussed the release of Ukrainians from russian captivity, which requires special help from the Vatican. Ukraine will hand over the list of journalists currently held captive in russia. Zelenskyy invited the Vatican to participate in a meeting in Canada on the humanitarian issues of the Peace Formula.

In addition, on October 11 in Germany, and yesterday, October 10, in the United Kingdom, France, and Italy, the President said that he had presented the European leaders with the Victory Plan for Ukraine. In particular, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and today German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 10, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the details of Ukraine's Victory Plan to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Recall that on October 9, Zelenskyy announced the possibility of ending the war no later than 2025.
