In Toretsk, Donetsk Region, fighting is currently taking place, the invaders control only the eastern part of the town, not 50-60%.
The spokesperson of the Luhansk operational-tactical troops group Anastasia Bobovnikova stated this in a comment on the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
She commented on the statement of Vasyl Chynchyk, head of the Toretsk City Military Administration, that the Armed Forces control 40-50% of Toretsk, and the rest of the settlement is "under occupation".
As Bobovnikova emphasized, it is necessary to separate the concepts of "under the control of the Armed Forces" and "occupied territory".
"Even if you look at the DeepState map, you can see two colors there. Red is where our military is no longer there, gray is where the fighting is going on. You can see that only the eastern part of the city is marked in red - Tsentralna Street and a few streets to the south of Tsentralna Street. And there are battles in the rest of the territory," she explained.
Bobovnikova clarified that the russians are trying to storm in small groups and are also destroying Toretsk. There are almost no surviving buildings left.
"Their tactics are unchanged. They wipe out the city with artillery. We have already seen it in other towns of Donbas. And after that they storm in small groups. That is, they try to find weak spots in our defense with such small strikes," pointed out the speaker of the Luhansk operational-tactical troops group.
