The new generation of Sea Baby maritime drones once again proved that the Security Service has become a generator of new technical ideas in this war and is one step ahead of the russians.
Political scientist, ex-parliamentarian Oleksandr Chernenko writes about this, commenting on a new video of SSU maritime drones working on enemy positions on the Kinburn Spit.
The expert emphasizes that maritime drones have changed the balance of power in the Black Sea since their appearance. "New drones are an even more dangerous weapon for the enemy. In fact, it is a multi-purpose platform that can carry various types of weapons and remotely mine the water area. After completing the tasks, they return to the base. If previously the "sea babies" mainly attacked the ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, then after modernization, they are capable of striking enemy targets and manpower concentrations, if they are located on the shore. Accurate strikes on Russian positions on the Kinburn Spit confirm this," writes the former MP.
Chernenko reminds that in February of this year, Ukrainians donated for the creation of a fleet of naval drones. "The specialists of the Service did not disappoint - the drones demonstrate excellent results. The Russian fleet is constantly hiding in the ports of deployment, and naval drones are now striking even at the enemy's facilities on land. In a short time, they launched a new development into production, constantly working on its improvement and the entire time being one step ahead of the Russians," the political scientist emphasizes.
"Ukraine, thanks to the maritime drones of the SSU, first lifted the grain blockade, and now it does not allow the ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation to approach the merchant ships leaving our ports. How does the former "maritime superpower" respond? With parades somewhere in the Baltic, constant changes in the heads of its Black Sea Fleet and attempts to launch missile strikes on civilian ports. It seems that something went wrong not only on land, but also at sea," the expert summarizes.
We will remind you that a video of the work of new generation SSU maritime drones was released earlier. In the video, a naval drone with a multiple launch rocket system mounted on it works on russian positions on the Kinburn Spit.
