The increase in taxes approved by the Verkhovna Rada will increase revenues to the state budget in 2024 by UAH 30 billion.
This was told to journalists by Danylo Hetmantsev, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We calculate that this year it (revenues) will be UAH 30 billion (to the budget)," he answered the question about the results of the increase in the military fee.
According to him, in 2025, revenues to the budget will already amount to UAH 135 billion.
Hetmantsev accused the opposition of "beating down" the amendment to the bill, which provided tax benefits.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada increased taxes.
The bill approved in the first reading provides for an increase in the military fee (MF) for the period until December 31 of the year in which martial law will be lifted, namely:
- rate increase from 1.5% to 5%;
- at the same time, the military fee for the military remains at the level of 1.5%;
- establishment of MF in the amount of 1% of the income of taxpayers of the single tax of the III group;
- establishment of MF for individuals-entrepreneurs - payers of the single tax of groups I, II and IV at the level of 10% of the minimum salary;
