Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko took part in the event on the occasion of the anniversary of the peaceful revolution in Germany and talked with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz.
He announced this on his Telegram channel.
"Politicians, public figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Germany, international organizations gathered in Leipzig for a solemn event on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the peaceful revolution in Germany. Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz made a speech about democracy and freedom. He noted, in particular, that because of Ukrainians' desire to determine their free future, Russia attacked Ukraine," Vitali Klitschko said.

During the meeting with Olaf Scholz, Vitali Klitschko spoke about increasing aid to Ukraine.
"During the conversation with the chancellor, I once again emphasized the need to strengthen assistance to Ukraine in its struggle, since the moment in the war is very critical. And one cannot give in to the Kremlin's blackmail. Freedom of Ukraine is also freedom of Europe!" emphasized Klitschko.
