Transit of russian oil through Ukraine ups 37% to 1.1 million tons in September

In September, the transit of russian oil through the Ukrainian part of the Druzhba oil pipeline increased by 37% to 1.06 million tons compared to August.

Most of the oil was transported to Slovakia in September - almost 0.5 million tons, approximately the same as in August.

At the same time, the supply of oil to Hungary increased 2.1 times to 0.37 million tons.

In addition, more than 0.19 million tons of oil were transported to the Czech Republic, which is almost twice as much as in August.

In 9 months of 2024, Ukraine transported about 8.05 million tons of russian oil to Europe.

In particular, 3.39 million tons of oil were transported to Hungary (42% of the total transit), 2.912 million tons (36%) to Slovakia, 1.75 million tons (22%) to the Czech Republic.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russia's Lukoil intends to resume oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia and Hungary in October, after Hungary's MOL announced that it had signed agreements to transport oil through Belarus and Ukraine via the pipeline.
