6 million citizens liable for military service did not update their personal data during 2024.
This is stated in the explanatory note to bill No. 12093, the author of which is the head of the parliamentary committee on law enforcement Serhii Ionushas, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"During 2024, more than 6,000,000 citizens liable for military service did not specify their personal data through the center for the provision of administrative services or through the electronic cabinet of a conscript, person liable for military service, reservist, or in the district (city) territorial center of recruitment and social support within 60 days from on the day of entry into force of the decree of the President of Ukraine on the announcement of mobilization, approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," the note reads.
According to the author of the bill, to date, the Unified State Register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists does not contain complete information regarding the personal data of a large number of citizens liable for military service, which definitely does not contribute to the mobilization processes in the country.
We will remind that Ionushas and 17 other members of the Verkhovna Rada propose to allow conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists to independently apply to territorial recruitment and social support centers for clarification of personal data by paying a fine of UAH 8,500.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, at the beginning of August, the first statistics on fines from territorial centers of procurement and social support appeared in Ukraine. In particular, even those persons liable for military service who updated their data in the Reserve+ application in time can receive them.
