DC Kyiv Outlet LLC, a member of the Dragon Capital group of companies, concluded an agreement on the acquisition of 100% of the authorized capital of Trade Solutions LLC, which was part of the DCH Investment Management (DCH) group of companies and which owns and manages the Karavan Outlet shopping center (Kyiv).
This is stated in the message of Dragon Capital, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the report, the deal is part of Dragon Capital's strategy to manage its commercial real estate portfolio.
"Despite the many years of history of Karavan and the high competition in the Obolonskyi District of the capital, we see potential in this shopping center. We are currently analyzing various strategies for the further development of the facility, taking into account the current needs of retailers and consumers," said CEO of Dragon Capital Tomáš Fiala.
The Karavan Outlet shopping center was opened in 2003 and updated in 2019. The total area of the object is 57,321 square meters, of which the leased area occupies 42,788 square meters.
The mall combines more than 50 international fashion brands, as well as a 5-screen cinema, a roller rink, a children's amusement park, a hypermarket and a food court.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Epicenter opened its first shopping center in the Kyiv Region.
