On Monday morning, the russian occupation army struck Kyiv with Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, all aerial targets were destroyed, fragments of missiles fell in three districts of the capital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"This morning, around 08:30 a.m., the enemy launched a missile attack on Kyiv. Earlier, the russian troops used Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K carriers. Air defense was operating in the capital," said Serhii Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to preliminary data, all air targets were successfully destroyed.
As a result of the missile attack, debris was recorded in three districts of Kyiv: Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi.
In the Solomianskyi District, debris damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building, one of the debris fell on the roof of a supermarket, another fell on the territory of a school, the rest of the debris fell on an open area.
In the Holosiivskyi District, the debris damaged the roof of a car, others fell in an open area.
In the Shevchenkivskyi District, the fall of debris in an open area was recorded.
So far, there has been no information about the victims.
All operational services are involved in eliminating the consequences of an enemy attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of October 3, the russian army made another attempt to launch an airstrike on Kyiv using attack drones.
Air defense forces shot down two Kinzhal missiles within the Kyiv Region, another hit in the area of the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi Region. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 32 drones.
