On the night of Monday, October 7, a large oil depot caught fire in Feodosia in the east of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
A number of Telegram channels reported this and published videos from the scene of the fire. The occupation authorities and russian media also confirm the fire.
It is reported that the fire allegedly occurred after a UAV attack. Fires were preceded by explosions.
According to the ASTRA channel, JSC Marine Oil Terminal caught fire.
Later, the local authorities introduced a state of man-made municipal emergency in the temporarily occupied Feodosia.
Meanwhile, the General Staff confirmed the attack on a marine oil terminal in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"Tonight, a successful attack was made on the enemy's marine oil terminal located in the temporarily occupied Feodosia of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. A fire was recorded in the vicinity of the object. The consequences of the damage are being clarified," the message says.
It was also noted there that the Feodosia terminal is the largest in Crimea in terms of transshipment of oil products, which were used, in particular, to meet the needs of the occupation army of the russian federation.
Earlier, this oil depot was already attacked by drones.
There are only two such terminals on the peninsula, the second is located in Sevastopol.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of October 4, the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched drones over the territory of the russian federation and attacked the Annanefteprodukt storage base for fuel and lubricants located near the settlement of Anna in the Voronezh Oblast of the russian federation.
