The troops of the russian federation continue their offensive with the aim of seizing Ukrainian territories. In particular, the enemy is preparing new assaults in the Orikhiv and Robotyne Axes of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
Vladyslav Voloshyn, the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the South, stated this on the air of a nationwide telethon.
"According to intelligence data, the enemy is preparing new assault operations near Orikhiv and Robotyne, the enemy is transferring personnel there and will probably activate new assaults in a few days," the military said.
He noted that if the enemy succeeds in making a breakthrough in this Axis, then the russian troops will be able to take under fire control the logistical routes that go from Zaporizhzhia to the east of Ukraine, where the Defense Forces hold the Donetsk and the southern part of the Zaporizhzhia Regions.
Voloshyn also added that during the past 24 hours, the enemy made 400 shellings on populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia Region alone. About 300 more - at the positions of the Ukrainian troops.
