Germany allocates EUR 70 million for purchase of cogeneration plants, generators and solar panels

Germany additionally allocated EUR 70 million to provide Ukrainian communities with cogeneration plants, generators and solar panels.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to him, this week Ukraine also received an additional support package from Switzerland in the amount of USD 1.7 billion for reconstruction projects in Ukraine for the next 4 years.

In addition, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will allocate USD 1 billion for the restoration of the Ukrainian energy system and humanitarian aid.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September, Germany additionally allocated EUR 100 million to support Ukraine's energy industry.
