Losses of personnel of russian troops on October 3 increased by 1,230 to 657,940 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 15 tanks, 31 armored fighting vehicles, 59 artillery systems and 101 drones.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 4, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel - about 657,940 (+1,230) persons were eliminated;
- tanks - 8,908 (+15) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 17,627 (+31) units;
- artillery systems - 18,965 (+59) units;
- MLRS - 1,212 (+8) units;
- air defense equipment - 965 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 368 units;
- helicopters - 328 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 16,494 (+101) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,613 units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 25,820 (+70) units;
- special equipment - 3,333 (+3) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the loss of personnel of the russian troops on October 2 increased by 1,150 to 656,710 people, equipment - by 17 armored vehicles and 37 artillery systems.
