On the night of Friday, October 4, russian troops launched 19 Shahed attack drones on the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to destroy 9 enemy drones.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"On the night of October 4, 2024, the enemy attacked the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine, launching 19 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - russian federation and Cape Chauda - Crimea areas," the message reads.
It is noted that 9 attack UAVs were shot down by air defense in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Kherson Regions.
7 enemy drones were lost in location, presumably as a result of EW operation.
There was no information about the destruction and victims.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 2, the russians attacked Ukraine with 32 Shaheds.
The Ukrainian military shot down 11 enemy drones, 4 UAVs returned to russia, 10 UAVs were lost in location.
It will be recalled that the launch of Shakheds by russia became known on the evening of October 3.
