In September, 11,380 deals worth UAH 12.74 billion were concluded on the Perspektyva exchange (-12% against August 2024), since the beginning of the year - 127,260 deals worth UAH 135.30 billion (+11% against the eight months of 2023).
This follows from a statement by the exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In total, 14,550 deals worth UAH 63.8 billion were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in September (+16% against August 2024), since the beginning of the year - 267,880 deals worth UAH 510.5 billion (+47% against the first eight months of 2023).
Since the beginning of the year, debt instruments have traditionally dominated the structure of trading on the Perspektyva exchange: government bonds - 90.53%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states - 9.35%, and CII securities - 0.05%, and derivatives - 0.07%.
On the stock exchange market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 86.29%, bonds of enterprises, local loans, foreign issuers, and states - 10.51%, shares, and CII securities - 0.64%, and derivatives - 2.55%.
The share of Perspektyva in the first eight months of 2024 was, respectively: in the total exchange turnover - 27%, including in relation to government bonds - 28%, in relation to bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and states - 24%, in the total number of transactions - 48%.
As of September 30, 2024, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektyva exchange was 295, of which 160 were listed.
Structure of issues (series) by types of financial instruments: 169 - government bonds and government derivatives (160 - domestic, 9 - foreign loans), 79 - other bonds (36 - corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 7 - corporate bonds of foreign issuers, 36 - bonds of foreign countries), 32 - shares (17 - Ukrainian issuers, 11 - foreign issuers, 4 – corporate investment funds’ shares), and 13 - investment certificates, 2 - swaps.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in July, 14,930 deals worth UAH 18.37 billion were concluded on the Perspektyva exchange (-4% against June 2024), since the beginning of the year - 102,480 deals worth UAH 108.11 billion (+13% against the seven months of 2023).
