The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said an Israeli airstrike killed one of the leaders of the militant group Hamas in the West Bank.
This is reported by CNN.
Thus, the IDF said that as a result of an Israeli airstrike on Thursday night, the leader of Hamas was killed in the Tulkarem district on the West Bank of the Jordan River.
The IDF says Zahi Yasser Abd al-Razek Ufi planned and led the car bombing in Ateret, an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, and was involved in other attacks against Israelis in the West Bank.
The Israel Defense Forces also said other local Hamas militants were also killed in Thursday's strike.
Hamas is said to have condemned the attack, but did not confirm whether Ufi was killed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, while Iran was shelling Israel in the evening of October 1, a terrorist attack occurred in the Tel Aviv-Yafo area: two men opened fire on a crowd of civilians.
It became known that as a result of the terrorist attack, seven people were killed and another 16 were injured. Among the wounded is a Ukrainian woman.
Hamas's armed wing, Al-Qassam, has claimed responsibility for shootings and stabbings in Tel Aviv on Tuesday that left at least seven people killed.
