The Ukrtelecom telecommunications company will not raise Internet tariffs in 2024.
This is stated in the message of Ukrtelecom, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"This year, Ukrtelecom's Internet prices will remain unchanged. The increase in tariffs for Internet services announced by many providers due to the transition to a new common taxation system for them will not affect Ukrtelecom's customers in any way. Unlike many other players, Ukrtelecom is a large system operator whose tariffs have always been in line with the market. Taxes account for more than 30% of the tariff for the end user. At the same time, Ukrtelecom pays them to the budgets of all levels on time and in full," the message says.
In particular, in 2023, the company paid more than UAH 1.35 billion in taxes, and in the first six months of 2024 - more than UAH 660 million.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, compared to 2022, Ukrtelecom reduced revenue by 10% to UAH 5 billion, reducing EBITDA by 16% to UAH 1 billion.
