On October 2, 142 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of enemy attacks were recorded on the Pokrovsk (29 clashes) and Kurakhove (27 clashes) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Last day, the enemy carried out 69 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers, including dropping 126 guided air bombs.
In addition, the enemy launched 4,543 attacks, 132 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
On October 2, there were 142 combat clashes with the russian occupiers at the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the invaders twice tried to storm in the area of the settlements of Vovchansk and Tykhe.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were 14 attacks by the occupiers during the day.
The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Andriivka, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to penetrate the Ukrainian defenses near Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Makiivka, and Torske.
During the day, the russians did not carry out offensive actions on the Siversk axis.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked three times in the areas of Ivanivske, Kalynivka, and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 20 attacks near Dyliivka, Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka.
Most of the enemy's attacks were directed at Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 29 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretske, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Krutyi Yar, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Selydove.
The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Mykolaivka.
The Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks on the Kurakhove axis.
The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove and Heorhiivka settlements.
In addition, the enemy attacked in the direction of the settlements of Tsukuryne, Zhelanne Druhe and Katerynivka.
On the Vremivka axis, the enemy carried out six assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Bohoiavlenka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupiers attacked in the direction of Kamianske.
On the Dnieper axis, the russian invaders did not carry out offensive actions.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit four air defense facilities, three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one artillery facility in a firing position and two ammunition depots of the invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on October 2 amounted to 1,150 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 1, 155 combat clashes took place at the front, the most intense battles were fought on the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Kupiansk axes.
