Russian troops attacked the market in the center of Kherson, at least five people were killed and three were injured.
The Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin and the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office announced this.
According to the data of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the enemy struck at around 09:00 a.m., probably from barrel artillery. Seven people were killed as a result of the shelling, including:
- three women;
- four men.
It is also known about three wounded people who are currently receiving qualified medical care.
"The occupiers attacked the market in the center of Kherson. Trading points where the people of Kherson bought or sold products in the morning came under attack. At the moment, at least eight victims are known. Preliminarily, five people were killed, three more were injured," Prokudin wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday .
The injured were taken to a medical facility, they are under the supervision of doctors.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Air Forces destroyed 29 of the 32 Shaheds during the night, 3 were lost in location.
Earlier, air defense shot down 67 Shaheds and a guided air missile.
