Sybiha will visit Hungary on Monday to meet Szijjártó

On Monday, September 30, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will pay a working visit to Budapest (Hungary) for negotiations with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó.

This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The key topics of discussion will be the development of good-neighborly relations, the implementation of joint projects, in particular in the areas of the economy, border infrastructure, protection of the rights of national minorities, promotion of Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO, the Peace Formula as a way to a fair end to russian aggression.

After the negotiations, the heads of foreign policy departments will make statements to the press.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that the visit to Hungary is a continuation of the first regional tour of the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, the purpose of which is to establish a pragmatic and predictable good-neighborly policy and progress towards the strategic goal of Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Sybiha started his first foreign tour on September 18 with a visit to Romania, on the same day he visited Slovakia, and on September 19 - Moldova.

In September, the first Ukrainian school opened in Hungary.
