The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced the elimination of the leader of the Hezbollah party, Hassan Nasrallah, as a result of yesterday's Israeli airstrike on Beirut.
It is noted that Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah and one of its founders, was eliminated along with Ali Karki, the commander of the Southern Front of Hezbollah, and other commanders of this group.
"Following precise intelligence from the IDF and Israeli security establishment, IAF fighter jets conducted a targeted strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which was located underground embedded under a residential building in the area of Dahieh in Beirut. The strike was conducted while Hezbollah’s senior chain of command were operating from the headquarters and advancing terrorist activities against the citizens of the State of Israel," the IDF said in a statement.
Nasrallah served as the Secretary General of Hezbollah for 32 years.
He was responsible for directing and carrying out terrorist attacks around the world that killed civilians.
Nasrallah was the central decision-maker and strategic leader of the organization.
