From January 1, 2025, citizens without a russian passport in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will receive the status of foreign citizens or stateless persons.
This is stated in the message of the National Resistance Center (NRC).
"On the website of the "Migration Service" under the Ministry of Terror of the "LPR" pseudo-formation, information is provided that adults who have not yet issued a russian document are considered foreigners, but currently have the right to live in the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region. However, only until December 31, 2024.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the NRC, the Kremlin hopes to bring passporting to 60% of the temporary occupied territories’ population by the end of the year. Therefore, all departments of the so-called "Ministry of Internal Affairs" were instructed to increase the number of raids in villages and on the streets of cities in order to clarify the lists of those who do not have a passport of the russian federation.
In addition, policemen in schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will reveal the pro-Ukrainian sentiments of their parents through the children.
