That night, russians attack three electricity transmission facilities - Shmyhal

That night, the russians attacked three electricity transmission facilities, one of them in the Mykolaiv Region.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"That night, the enemy carried out another massive attack on the Ukrainian energy sector, using drones and missiles for this purpose. In particular, three electricity transmission facilities were attacked, one of them - in the Mykolayiv Region. But the russian terrorists did not achieve their goals - the energy system of Ukraine works in balanced mode, power supply shutdowns are not planned," he said.

Shmyhal said that today in the Mykolayiv Region he inspected the construction of engineering protection at power substations. Also in Mykolaiv, he got acquainted with the process of installing two cogeneration plants with a capacity of 1.5 MW each, which will provide heat to more than 200 multi-apartment residential buildings, 5 medical and 24 educational institutions.

The Prime Minister noted that, in general, before the new heating season, Mykolaivoblteploenergo undertook to build 5 facilities of distributed generation based on gas-piston cogeneration units with a total capacity of 5.5 MW.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrenergo reported that electricity consumption continues to grow in Ukraine.

Over the past day, due to shelling by the russian occupiers and military operations, there were power outages in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv Regions.
