In Kyiv, debris from drone damaged gas pipe in residential building, fire broke out

Air defense forces worked in the capital and suburbs. Emergency services were called to the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv - as a result of falling debris, a fire broke out on the first floor of a five-story residential building.

"As a result of an aerial attack by russian drones, a gas pipe was depressurized. Kyivgas is urgently on its way to the place of the call. An investigation is underway," the Kyiv City Military Administration noted.

Later, it became known that in addition to depressurization of the gas pipe in the residential building, about 20 cars were damaged. Debris fell on the territory of the kindergarten. currently, information about the alleged victims is being clarified.

At 7:17 a.m., the State Emergency Service added that the fire had been extinguished.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Wednesday, September 25, russian troops launched a S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, 4 guided aviation missiles, 4 missiles of an unknown type and 32 Shahed-type attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 28 attack UAVs and 4 guided air missiles.
