The russian federation has destroyed all thermal and largest hydroelectric power stations of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during his speech at the UN General Assembly.

"The Russian army cannot gain significant advantages on the battlefield; Putin is looking for other ways to break the fighting spirit of Ukrainians. One of its targets is infrastructure. The Russians continue to attack our energy infrastructure. So far, the Russian Federation has destroyed all our thermal power plants and the largest hydroelectric plants," said the head of state.
Zelenskyy noted that russian dictator putin wants millions of Ukrainians to be left without light and heat in winter.
"Imagine, please, your country with an 80% destroyed energy system. With such scale of destruction, what kind of life will it be?" stressed the Ukrainian leader.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 15 regions were affected by the massive russian attack, and the energy infrastructure was once again the target of russian terrorists.
In particular, as a result of the morning mass shelling of the russian federation in the Kyiv Region, infrastructure objects and houses were damaged, and one person was injured.
Also, on the morning of August 26, the aggressor state russia damaged an infrastructure facility in Lutsk, Volyn Region. It became known about 1 person killed as a result of the attack.
