In general, by 2025, 40% of the budget expenditures of the russian federation will be directed to national defense and internal security. This is more than russia spends on its economy, education, health care and social policy.
In addition, the budget provides for classified articles, from which up to RUB 12.9 trillion can be financed. This is approximately 30% of the total budget costs.
However, already in 2026, the russian federation plans to gradually reduce defense expenditures.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the head of the Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the aggressor country of russia wants to end the war against Ukraine by the end of 2025 - the beginning of 2026 with its victory, because from the summer of 2025, it will begin to have serious problems in the economy and the need for mobilization will arise.
Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War say that the Kremlin continues to demonstrate its indifference to any peaceful settlement of the conflict, insisting on the capitulation of the Ukrainian government and the liquidation of Ukrainian statehood.
