The Republic of South Africa has confirmed its continued participation in the Peace Formula ahead of the second Peace Summit.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha announced this on X, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"I started my work in New York with a meaningful meeting with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Ronald Lamola. I am grateful for the support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. I am grateful to Minister Lamola for confirming the further participation of South Africa in the Peace Formula on the eve of the 2nd Peace Summit," he wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine plans to hold the second Peace Summit in November, and russia will be invited to it.
On September 9, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz advocated inviting the aggressor state russia to the second Peace Summit.
