In particular, settlements named after moscow figures are being renamed.

Among the renaming proposals were many names associated with Soviet holidays or symbols.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 18, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, explained due to the renaming of which cities and villages the parliament did not support the decommunization and de-russification of more than 300 settlements.
