The WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO world champion, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, who was arrested the day before at the airport of the Polish city of Krakow, made a video in which he announced that he is free now.

The video is posted on the boxer's YouTube channel.

"Friends, good night to all. I am free. There were some misunderstandings, I want to thank the Ukrainian delegation and the Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland. I personally want to thank our President, who was very worried and personally dealt with this issue. Thank you, Volodymyr Oleksandrovych. Thank God for everything and Glory to Ukraine. I am free, there is no need to crown me," Oleksandr Usyk said.

As it is known, Usyk was going to fly to Spain, where he had to undergo a training session before the fight with Fury. For unknown reasons, they did not want to let Usyk’s friend board the plane. Oleksandr said that he would not fly without him, as a result, both were detained. Then the Ukrainian boxer was released.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the detention of the boxer and stated that the situation has been resolved.
