Due to severe floods in Poland and the Czech Republic, railway operators of both countries have temporarily canceled a number of flights.
This is stated in the message of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"As of now, both trains from Prague - to Chop and to Przemyśl - are still on the territory of the Czech Republic and have no chance of making it to their connecting Ukrainian flights. Therefore, we remind you that we are ready to accept passengers with tickets for today's trains for any of our flights of a similar direction within the next 24 hours to any free seats without exchanging tickets," it says.
UZ also advised passengers from Ukraine, who are heading to their connection in the Prague direction, to contact the Czech or Polish railway operator and clarify the schedule of the next flights.
"There is a high probability that passengers should plan an overnight stay in the city of connection," added the UZ.
Ukrzaliznytsia also stressed that they remain in touch with the carriers of both countries and are ready to help with the flexible organization of connections for Ukrainian passengers.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrzaliznytsia revealed the reason for the critical shortage of train tickets earlier.
