Automated deferrals can be implemented for students; for guardians of three or more children or for persons with disabilities.
The head of the Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleh Berestovyi announced this in the DOU Podcast.
"Automated deferrals are a hot topic. I understand that it is necessary, first of all, out of respect for those people who need it. And to get rid of work that cannot be done in a territorial recruitment and social support center. For example: people with disabilities. If the state knows about you that you have a certain group of disability and you are not suitable for service a priori, so why then reconfirm, regularly pass a military medical commission?
It is necessary to regulate both normatively and technically. We are working on it. We know how to do it, and in the coming weeks we will approach it," Oleh Berestovyi said.
Also, according to him, automated deferrals will apply to guardians of three or more children. And also, there will be deferrals for people who are studying, getting their first higher education.
