The Netherlands will not transfer a Patriot air defense system to Ukraine due to the refusal of one of the country's allies to participate in the supply.
NL Times reported this with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.
Initially, the Netherlands announced its intention to transfer the Patriot to Ukraine at the end of May. The Ministry of Defense assured that the country has the "main components" of the system, and the rest of the details were to be provided by other states.
In June, Kajsa Ollongren, then the defense minister, said that the Netherlands had found a country to help with the supply. It was planned to transfer a radar and at least three launchers to Ukraine.

However, the Dutch Ministry of Defense has now said that "the ally has not fulfilled an earlier commitment" regarding the supply. The Ministry of Defense did not specify which country it was referring to.
