Secretary of State Antony Blinken, together with the British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, will visit Ukraine on Wednesday, September 11, where they will meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and senior officials of the Ukrainian government.
This was announced by the US Embassy in Poland on Tuesday, September 10.
The Embassy noted that representatives of the United States and Britain will discuss continued support and protection of Ukraine against russian aggression.
"On September 11, Secretary of State Blinken, together with the British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, will visit Ukraine, where they will meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and senior officials of the Ukrainian government to discuss continued support for the defense of Ukraine against russian aggression and how to ensure Ukraine's military development, economic and democratically in the long term," the message reads.
The next day, September 12, Secretary of State Blinken will travel to Poland, where he will meet with high-ranking officials of the Polish government to discuss, among other things, deepening work as NATO members in defense support to Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 6, the Pentagon announced another reason for the ban on the use of American weapons by Ukraine for long-range strikes deep into the territory of the aggressor country of russia.
According to the media, Great Britain has been waiting for more than a month for the decision of the United States to give permission to Ukraine to hit russian territory with Storm Shadow missiles.
