The russian occupiers shelled civilian energy infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv Regions.
This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"In the Dnipropetrovsk Region, the substation, household consumers, and the water supply were cut off twice due to shelling. In addition, the substation, consumers, and the railway were also cut off (there were no disruptions to the movement of trains). The power supply was restored according to the backup scheme. In the Sumy Region, as a result of the shelling of the overhead line, the power was cut off at the substation and household consumers of the Kharkiv Region, the power supply has been restored according to the backup scheme," the message says.
Also, in the Poltava Region, during the air alert, the overhead line was turned off, at the same time consumers were cut off, their power supply has now been restored.
"In the Donetsk Region, as a result of enemy shelling of the territory of one of the mines, the equipment was damaged. At the time of the incident, there were no people in the mine. One person was given medical assistance," the message says.
In addition, in the Chernihiv Region, as a result of the shelling, overhead lines were disconnected, 947 consumers in 15 settlements were cut off.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 8, russian invaders attacked energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv Regions.
