The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, believes that it was the inaction of NATO allies that led to the fall of russian drones on the territory of the Alliance countries.
Landsbergis wrote about this on the X social network (Twitter).
He added that Lithuania would, of course, support a decisive response from the Allies.
Incidents unthinkable 3 yrs ago are now treated as routine. Nothing should be landing on Ukraine, or Latvia, or anywhere on NATO territory, but this is the new reality our inaction has allowed to emerge. Lithuania will of course be supporting a strong allied response.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 8, a group of attack drones of the aggressor state of russia violated the airspace of Romania and Lithuania during the attack on Ukraine.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, called on the Allies to take "concrete actions" and lift restrictions on the use of weapons by Ukraine, as well as to decide to use air defense systems of partners to shoot down russian missiles and drones over Ukraine.
